A fantastic opportunity to work as part of a leading international multi-disciplined construction consultancy that provides bespoke building control services for a variety of high end clients through England but predominately the South East.

You will act as their valued Principal Designer and CDM Advisor integrating health and safety and ensuring design proposals and safe to build, maintain or demolish.

As the Principal Designer / CDM Consultant your main responsibilities will include communicating effectively with contractors, designers and clients, act as nominated advisor to external Principal Designer organisations and assisting the design team, contractors and client to comply with CDM regulations.

The Successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant

The successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant should ideally hold the following:

  • Expert knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regs 2015
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
  • Technical IOSH membership/ Associate APS membership (minimum)
  • Recognised membership of a proven Health & Safety organisation
  • Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritise workload and ability to lead own projects
  • Experienced in a client facing role

The Package of the successful CDM Consultant:

  • Basic Salary up to £65,000 based on experience
  • 45p per mile Petrol Allowance
