A proactive HR Coordinator required to join a construction contractor based in their Kings Langley office.

The Company

The successful HR coordinator will join an established, first rate contractor who specialize construction, refurbishments, new builds, interior fit outs and maintenance. The requirement for a HR Coordinator has arisen due to rapid expansion.

The Role HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator will be expected to…

• Collecting and reviewing timesheets, calculating payable hours, reviewing of payslips, and preparing all payroll related paperwork
• Managing the company pension auto-enrolment process
• Being the first point of contact for all HR and payroll related enquiries from employees
• Assisting with all stages of employee life cycle
• Digitalisation of all HR documents
• Administration of the financial accounting processes and HR functions
• Assisting with the Recruitment processes, attracting the best talent, drafting and placing job adverts.
• Candidate screening, organising and conducting interviews
• Creation of offer letters and contracts
• Carrying out employment checks for new members of staff
• Supporting managers with Performance Management, making sure probation review meetings and appraisal meetings take place
• Providing support for managers during ER cases, acting as minutes taker and carrying out the transcript of meetings, providing managers with policies and procedures and employee records
• Absence management, recording absences, collecting forms and providing absence reports
• HR audits and management of the filing system
