About the company

A well respected, professional Health & Safety organisation based throughout the UK are seeking a Health & Safety Trainer to join their team.

This is based in the Northern home counties and will be site and home based.

Well established within the Health & Safety industry, this professional organisation are currently expanding and seek a Health & Safety Trainer to join their experienced team of Consultants.

The successful Health & Safety Trainer will be joining an organisation who firmly believe that their people are their strongest asset and provide strong training and development and understand the importance of a work/life balance.

About the role

The successful Health & Safety Trainer will :

• Train people in as many aspects of safety as required;
• To write, develop and review high quality training courses using a range of teaching methods
• Keep training presentations up to date in line with new industry statistics, legislation, and regulations
• Deliver training to meet course objectives using a range of teaching methods
• Evaluate success and impact of training given
• Attend quarterly consultants' meetings for training purposes.
• To complete internal reports and documentation and return to the Company's offices within specified timescales

The requirements

The successful Health & Safety Trainer will have a strong background and in-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Strong interpersonal skills are a prerequisite, as is the ability to manage, guide, develop and motivate a team.

The successful Health & Safety Advisor should also :

• A proven strong background in Construction Training at ALL levels
• Ability to train Essential: CITB Site Safety Plus - SMSTS, SSSTS and HSA
• Ability to train Desirable: IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors (SED) Asbestos Awareness / Abrasive Wheels / Harnesses / Working at Height / Fire Marshal / CAT and Genny / Temporary Works Awareness NEBOSH
• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health
• Teaching Certificate or Equivalent
