A well-established, medium-sized consultancy with over 50 years of experience is seeking a dynamic Health & Safety Advisor to support their Midlands clients.
This is a full-time, remote-based position, with the flexibility to manage your own diary and travel to sites within a 50-mile radius from your home. The role sits within a collaborative team covering Manchester and the Midlands, offering a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth.

The Health & Safety Advisor Role
As the Health & Safety Advisor, your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site inspections on construction projects and producing detailed reports.
- Collaborating closely with the Regional Director to identify and address the health and safety training needs of employees.
- Developing and implementing safety policies to ensure compliance across all sites.
- Training staff on best practices in health and safety.
- Performing regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.
- Recording and investigating workplace accidents.
- Staying current with health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
- Logging into the online portal to complete risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH assessments.
The Health & Safety Advisor
The successful Health & Safety Advisor will:
- Have proven experience working within a construction consultancy.
- Hold the NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
- Possess a strong understanding of health and safety within the construction industry.
- Be an engaging communicator, IT literate, and comfortable liaising with all levels.
- Be self-disciplined and capable of managing their own schedule.
- Hold a valid driving license.
