Assistant Quantity Surveyor

A specialist decorating contractor with a portfolio of high-quality decorations for the likes of Louis Vuitton, The Mulberries and more are looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Chelmsford based team.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor's role

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will hold a fair amount of responsibility for decoration projects ranging in values up to £1.5m for a variety of sectors; Residential, Education, Retail and more. Whilst working on these projects the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with a range of duties including measurements, procurement and liaising with various stakeholders.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be given plentiful opportunities to learn, receive support in the development of their professional skillset and set on a clear progression path to enhance their career.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• 12+ months Quantity Surveying experience
• HNC/HND Qualified in Quantity Surveying
• Experience with a sub-contractor preferrable
• Understanding or experience with drawings preferrable
• Full valid UK driving license
• Willing to commute to sites across Greater London
