Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The Owners of an award-winning and growing Quantity Surveying consultancy, is now seeking an ambitious and degree qualified Assistant Quantity Surveyor, to support them from their new office in Nottingham.

Based a 15 minute walk from Nottingham Station, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining ambitious and professional Directors and fellow Quantity Surveyors.

The Company

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining an organisation who have 25 years experience building projects ans developing relationships around the East & West Midlands. Over the past 18 months, their team has grown by 75%.

With an extensive background in a myriad of sectors, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be immediately supporting High End Residential, Social Housing, Commercial and Healthcare.

Duties will include;

- Cost plans

- Estimates

- Tenders

- Handling of client and contractors

- Attending site meetings

The Quantity Surveyor

Ideally the consultancy would like to see a minimum of 2 years Quantity Surveying work experience, including;

• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying
• Basic knowledge of both Pre & Post contract handling
• Client facing
• Happy to see both PQS/Contractor experience
• Eagerness to build relationships
• An openess to various other sectors
