This role is perfect for an ambitious Assistant Building Surveyor eager to work with a renowned industry leader that provides structured APC support and a varied project portfolio for career development.
The successful Assistant Building Surveyor Role
The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will engage in a diverse range of professional services, including party wall matters, dilapidations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), employer's agent duties, schedules of condition, and technical due diligence (TDD).
You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects spanning multiple sectors, such as office, education, sport, and residential properties, offering a well-rounded experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional surveying services across a variety of areas, including party wall, dilapidations, PPM, and TDD
- Support employer's agent functions and contribute to schedules of condition for client projects
- Gain hands-on experience across diverse sectors, developing a robust skill set
- Benefit from a tailored APC support program with mentoring and guidance to achieve MRICS status
The Ideal Assistant Building Surveyor
- BSc or MSc in Building Surveying or an RICS-accredited degree with a minimum of 2 years' Building Surveying experience
- Background in a consultancy or private practice setting
- APC diary started with a commitment to achieving MRICS status
- Self-motivated, fast learner with a strong dedication to APC progression
